CAR OVERTURNS AFTER BEING FORCED OFF I-55

A Park Hills woman was injured Wednesday afternoon after a tractor-trailer forced her car off Interstate 55, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.

The patrol said Janice Holloway, 40, was 12 miles north of Jackson when the accident occurred. She was south-bound in the passing lane when a tractor-trailer moved into her lane. She was forced onto the median and overturned.

She received moderate injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
