GRASSY, Mo. - Three people were injured after a their vehicle hit a tree off County Road 506 Monday afternoon.
Around 1:15 p.m. a 1992 GMC driven by Michelle R. Smith, 38, of Jackson ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred 2 miles south of Grassy.
Smith was treated for moderate injuries while two passengers in the car - Edward Cureton, 18, of Zalma, Mo., and Lloyd Cureton, 27, of Grassy - were treated for moderate injuries at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
