Car driven by mother of abandoned infant found

ST. LOUIS -- The car driven by a missing woman whose baby was found abandoned last week at a St. Louis County apartment complex has been found.

St. Louis city police found the 2004 Mitsubishi Galant Tuesday morning. Authorities aren't yet saying if it contained clues to the whereabouts of 30-year-old Ebony Jackson.

Jackson's 3-month-old son was found in an inside hallway of an apartment complex in Breckenridge Hills at 5 a.m. Friday. The child was in a car seat and was in good health.

Jackson originally is from East St. Louis, Ill., but she lives in Oklahoma City. She was reportedly coming to the St. Louis area for a visit last week but relatives have not heard from her since Thursday.

Relatives fear foul play.
