Published April 18, 1966. Campers got off to an early start at Trail of Tears State Park. Capt. Published April 4, 1979. Another hand of Eucher was finished and a semi-lull settled over the playing table, while Ed Martin (third from left) figured the scores. Meeting every afternoon in a converted bus at Kelso to play cards are, clockwise, Albert Diebold, Zeno Blattel, Ed Martin, Ed Enderle, Frank Glueck and Bill Georger. Published April 7, 1991 Gov. John Ashcroft got some help from Troop 10 Boy Scouts in planting a tree in Capaha Park. Ashcroft was in Cape Girardeau to promote the tree-planting efforts made in the state during the previous year. (Southeast Missourian archive)
