Another hand of Eucher was finished and a semi-lull settled over the playing table, while Ed Martin (third from left) figured the scores. Meeting every afternoon in a converted bus at Kelso to play cards are, clockwise, Albert Diebold, Zeno Blattel, Ed Martin, Ed Enderle, Frank Glueck and Bill Georger. There were a dozen other members in the card club, and it was seldom that someone wasn't occupying what these men felt was their home away from home. (Phil Nash ~ Southeast Missourian archive)
