Southeast Missouri State University seniors Michelle Clement, left, and Danielle Danna paddled around the lagoon in Capaha Park during the University Relations Committee and Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce New Student Recognition Picnic. The students were treated to canoe rides, volleyball, a band and hotdogs. A table was also set up for students to register to vote for the upcoming riverboat gambling election.
