Mary Seyer, custodian of evidence and property at the Cape Girardeau Police Department, looks over some of the stolen, abandoned or unclaimed property that will be sold at auction on May 22 in Arena Park. The program provides identification, but also is an opportunity for the police department to give parents safety information to help protect their children from danger.
