Employees of the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department erect a sign at Capaha Park. The sign was originally put up last June for four days before being removed by order of then-city manager Gary Eide on the grounds that neither he nor the City Council had approved it. Approval to re-erect the $2,750 sign, which had been in storage, was recently given by City Manager J. Ronald Fischer. Pictured, from left, are Mike Dickey, Tim Barton, Rick Wilson and John Penrose.
