Published Nov. 5, 1992. Judith Ann Crow, left, receives the 1992 Woman of Achievement Award of the Cape Girardeau Zonta Club Tuesday night from Jane Daume, with John L. Blue, former editor of the Southeast Missourian. Crow, a charter member of Zonta, was chosen for the award "for her exemplary efforts in the promotion of her community, education, fine arts, history and the advancement of other women." Published Feb. 5, 1980. Carl Ritter, left, the leading all-time scorer in SEMO State University history, presents a plaque to John Sanchez prior to Monday night's game at Houck Field House. The plaque denotes Sanchez' entry into the 1,000-point club. The senior from Chicago has scored 1,028 points during his four-year career. He played in his 100th game Monday night.
