He was shown with employee John Burgfeld, left, and his wife, Norma, and friend, Roy the Rooster. The business was established in 1926. Cape Girardeau City Council candidate Dr. Melvin C. Kasten, second from right, responded to a question during the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum at City Hall. Candidates were given a two-minute opening statement, responded to questions and closed with a one-minute statement. Candidates from left were R.
