Syler is seeking a degree in theater with a minor in music at the University of Missouri at Columbia and said she hopes to someday teach theater at the university level. Nicholson is a senior at Southeast Missouri State University and will graduate with a degree in vocal music.

Cast members do all of the jobs associated with theater from building sets to selling tickets.

Syler plans to try for other summer stock experiences.

"I definitely want to continue with live theater," she said. She would also like to perform professionally.

Following her May graduation, Nicholson said she will be heading north.

"I'm going to Chicago and audition," she said.
