A Cape Girardeau woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to one felony count of conspiracy to possess methamphetamine, according to a news release from acting federal prosecutor Michael W. Reap. Annie Marie Graham, 36, now faces a sentence of up to 20 years' imprisonment, a $250,000 fine or both, with the court imposing a period of supervised release of three years. Sentencing has been set for Dec. 2 in Cape Girardeau. With her plea, Graham admitted that on Feb. 19, narcotics officers caught her buying pseudoephedrine under suspicious circumstances. Records indicated that Graham had bought 167 grams of pseudoephedrine from area stores between Sept. 1, 2008, and Feb. 17. Graham later told officers that she had been providing the pseudoephedrine to an individual who was making methamphetamine.
