Jamie Marie Johnston and Terra Dawn Wright, both of Cape Girardeau, have been awarded the Regents' Scholarship at Southeast Missouri State University.
The award covers full-time fees per semester and is renewable for four years if students maintain a 3.5 grade point average.
The Regents' Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who graduate in the top 10 percent of their class and score 28 on the ACT. It is also awarded to class valedictorians or salutatorians who earn a 25 on the ACT.
Both students will be 1995 graduates of Cape Central High School. Wright plans to study nursing at Southeast.
Johnston is the daughter of Glenda Johnston of 1207 Dorothy and Willis Johnston of 1431 Henderson. Wright is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. James Jr. of 140 Edgewood and Mr. and Mrs. Terry W. Wright of 107 Independence.
