CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Christine A. Peters of Cape Girardeau has received a Regents Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University during the 1991-92 academic year.
The Regents Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors graduating in the top 10 percent of their class and scoring above the 90th percentile on the ACT or SAT. The award covers full-time fees per semester and is renewable for four years.
Peters is a senior at Notre Dame High School. She is president of Students Against Driving Drunk, vice president of Future Business Leaders of America, vice president of the Spanish Club, member of the National Honor Society, pep club and costume crew for the school musical.
Peters plans to major in psychology at Southeast. She is the daughter of Herman and Cordelia Peters of Cape Girardeau.
