Anthony Salazar of Cape Girardeau has been selected to travel with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps of Dubuque, Iowa. Members audition for parts during winter rehearsals and rehearsal camps take place one weekend a month during the preseason. The tour began June 13.

The band includes 90 members and 20 instructional staff members.

Proclaimed "Iowa's Ambassadors of Music" by Iowa's governor, the Colts have three Iowa performances on their schedule. The band will also perform in Montreal, Atlanta, Houston, and finally in Dallas at the Drum Corps International World Championships on Aug. 17.
