Eric Vogt, son of Fred and Pat Vogt of Cape Girardeau, recently received the University Scholar Award at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

He is a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Kappa Epsilon Alpha, the pre-medicine club and Beta Theta Pi social fraternity.
