Eric Vogt, son of Fred and Pat Vogt of Cape Girardeau, recently received the University Scholar Award at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
The scholarship is awarded students who achieve a minimum grade-point average of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale.
Vogt also recently received the Flora Dot Newmeyer Scholarship from Grace United Methodist Church, the Excellence Award from MU, and the Alan C. Greenburg Scholarship from M.U.
He is a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Kappa Epsilon Alpha, the pre-medicine club and Beta Theta Pi social fraternity.
