CAPE ROTARY CLUB HONORS HIGH ACHIEVERS

The Rotary Club of Cape Girardeau honored some of the area's successful high school students Monday at the 42nd annual John L. Blue Academic Excellence Banquet.

The event was in the University Center Ballroom on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

Students in the top 10 percent of their classes received certificates and heard a speech titled "Soundbites for Success" delivered by Dr. Keith Russell.
