University students Mark Miesner, Jude Keck, Sheila Branum, Danieson Thai, and Cape Central High School student Lisa Vandergraaf participated in the exchange program. Others that attended: Ruth Boardman, Ruth Knote, Jeanne Beaty, Marjorie Thompson, Melva Rose Lewis, John and Judy Holcomb and Mel and Verna Vogel, previously were enrolled in Jedan's German culture class.

During their stay in Germany, they attended symphonies, went sightseeing and served as interpreters during tours of schools and industries in the area.

In August, Silke Gneiser of Memmingen will enroll at Southeast. She will be staying with Marjorie Thompson of Cape.
