Cape Girardeau police spent Saturday evening investigating the death of a 38-year-old mother of two found dead inside her home by paramedics.
There were no apparent signs of foul play, but investigators and the Cape Girardeau County coroner aren't ruling out a possible crime, chief Steve Strong said.
Corner Mike Hurst took the body of Penney Jackson to Farmington for an autopsy.
"The cause of death is undeterminable at this time," he said.
Penney Jackson of Cape Girardeau reportedly fell and hit her head Friday when exiting a car outside her home, said her brother, the Rev. Jerry Jackson of Scott City.
