CAPE NATIVE NAMED TO UNIVERSITY DEAN'S LIST

VALPARAISO, Ind. - Denise Hartmann, daughter of Bob and Esther Hartmann, of Cape Girardeau, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Valparaiso University.

She is a 1987 graduate of Central High School and will graduate from Valparaiso in May with a degree in elementary and special education.

Located in Indiana, 55 miles southeast of Chicago, Valparaiso was founded in 1859 and purchased in 1925 by The Lutheran University Association. It is a nationally recognized institution of higher learning, serving approximately 3,800 students annually.
