In his plea, Amos admitted to selling meth to confidential informants in Cape Girardeau on Aug. 29, 2004, the release stated.

During the sale, Amos talked to the informants about the two providing him with pseudoephedrine pills for the defendant to manufacture into meth.

On Sept. 2, 2004, the informants gave Amos 2,500 pseudoephedrine pills containing 174 grams of actual pseudoephedrine, the release stated.

After a short foot chase with officers, Amos was arrested.
