A Cape Girardeau man was treated for moderate injuries after his pickup truck struck a utility pole about two miles east of Dutchtown, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. John T. Hall, 52, was driving northbound on Highway 74 at about 5:40 p.m. when he made a left turn and struck the pole, the patrol said. Hall was allegedly driving too fast and the patrol reported that he was not wearing his seat belt. The 1990 Chevy Silverado he was driving was considered a total loss...

Hall was allegedly driving too fast and the patrol reported that he was not wearing his seat belt. The 1990 Chevy Silverado he was driving was considered a total loss. Hall was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau following the accident.
