CAPE MAN HURT IN ACCIDENT
A Cape Girardeau resident received moderate injuries in a motorcycle accident Wedensday afternoon near Boutin Lake at Trail of Tears State Park. A Cape Girardeau resident received moderate injuries in a motorcycle accident Wedensday afternoon near Boutin Lake at Trail of Tears State Park.
Daniel Mayberry, 21, of Cape Girardeau was treated at Southeast Missouri Hospital and released.

The accident occurred when Mayberry attempted to pass a vehicle on his motorcycle but collided sideswiped it instead, said Missouri Highway Patrol officials.
The driver of the second vehicle was Bradley Stotler, 20, also of Cape Girardeau, who wasn't injured in the accident.
