A Cape Girardeau man is facing charges after being accused of an domestic assault June 21.
Charles M. Garmon Jr. has been charged with one count each of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action, online court records show.
About 11 p.m. June 21, officers responded to a Cape Girardeau home for a report of "shots fired," Sgt. Adam Glueck of the Cape Girardeau Police Department said in an email.
The victim claimed Garmon shot a gun at her, but she was not struck, Glueck wrote.
A warrant for Garmon was issued Monday after an investigation. His bond has been set at $100,000 cash or surety, court records show.
Garmon remains at large, Glueck wrote.
