CAPE MAN DIES IN ACCIDENT
A Cape Girardeau man was killed when the car he was driving went into the Whitewater River near Scopus. The victim was identified as Marcus D. Musgraves, 19. The Missouri Highway Patrol said Musgraves was westbound on Bollinger County Road 368 and was attempting to cross a low-water bridge when the car slipped off into the water, overturning. Arrangements were incomplete at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
