A Cape Girardeau man is facing charges after he allegedly used a gun to threaten a woman.
Lloyd Austin Jr., 35, has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon in an incident Tuesday in the 3000 block of Mimosa Street.
Cape Girardeau Police Sgt. Adam Glueck said the threat took place during an argument between Lloyd and a woman he knew. No one was injured, Glueck said.
Lloyd allegedly brandished a black semi-automatic handgun, chambered a round, then put his arm through the window of a vehicle where the woman was sitting, saying he was going to kill her, according to a probable-cause statement filed in the case.
Lloyd was released from custody Wednesday on a $15,000 bond.
No court dates have been scheduled.
