The Cape Girardeau Public Library will conduct a program on quilts Saturday, Jan. 21. The talk will begin at 10 a.m.
For the first half hour, professional home economist Judy Robinson will present a program on new tools and techniques in quilting. Audience members will then be invited to participate in a show-and-tell time with their own quilts.
Judy Robinson works with the Scott City School system. She is a founding member of the River Heritage Quilt Guild and has been quilting for 12 years. She also teaches quilting at the Sewing Basket and offers workshops for various quilting guilds.
The library program is free and open to the public. Accommodations for patrons with disabilities will be made upon request.
