McLane Jateff, a freshman at Cape Girardeau Central Junior High School, has been selected to represent Southeast Missouri in the Miss Teen USA Pageant in Columbia, Mo. April 2.
Jateff is the 15-year-old daughter of Bruce and Jana Jateff of Cape Girardeau. As a contestant she will compete in interview, evening gown and swimsuit competition. The winner from this pageant will go on to compete for the national title to be held in Biloxi, Miss.
Jateff is a pianist, in the school band, a cheerleader, on the track team, an honor student and is active in the LaCroix Methodist Church and in the youth group.
