• 2 p.m. April 4, Great Decisions topic is "Human Rights in the Age of Terrorism;"

* 7 p.m. April 4, book discussion at the Red House Interpretive Center in downtown Cape Girardeau. Title is "Sign Talker," by James Alexander Thom.

* 2 p.m. April 9, Susan Wittig Albert, author of the "China Bayles Herbal Mysteries" and "The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter," will hold a presentation and book signing.

* 2 p.m. April 11, Great Decisions topic is "Turkey: The New World Role."

* 7 p.m. April 11, Terri L. Foley will present a program on how to research the history of your home.
