Cape Girardeau police take man into custody

A suspect is in custody pending the filing of formal charges after flourishing a weapon Monday at 801 W. Rodney St. Cape Girardeau police received a call about 5:50 p.m. Monday reporting a man flourishing a gun. A police spokesman said that officers responded, found the victim, then found the suspect and took him into custody. Police would not identify the suspect until he was charged. He remains in the city jail until a warrant, possibly for a weapons charge, is filed. No one was injured...
