Cape Girardeau man killed in mowing accident Thursday

EDITOR'S NOTE: This story has been corrected to say the victim died in a mowing accident, not that the mower flipped over and landed on him. Exactly how the mower ended up on top of the man remained under investigation Friday night.

A Cape Girardeau man died Thursday from injuries he received in a lawn mowing accident.

According to Cape Girardeau County Coroner John Clifton, Glen Sinclair, 61, was using a Bush Hog-style rotary mower when the mower bumped against a home on Faithful Drive. Sinclair was found minutes after the accident with the mower partially on top of his body. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
