Cape Girardeau, Jackson announce Thanksgiving trash pickup schedules

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Jackson's sanitation department will not be operating Thursday or Friday. For customers with normal trash collection on those days, pick up will be Monday. For more information, contact the sanitation department at 243-2333 or the public works department at 243-2300. In Cape Girardeau, Thursday trash and recycling routes will run Wednesday. All other routes will remain the same. All city offices are closed on Thanksgiving.
