Cape Girardeau County election results

In other Cape Girardeau County voting Tuesday, several county residents won election to school boards and three communities voted to forgo future elections if there are no opposed candidates.

Complete but unofficial results were:

• Reorganized (Jackson) School District Board of Education: Kelly Waller, 1,289; Sheila King, 1,267; Richard Murray, 426; Charles Wallgren, 398
• Delta School District Board of Education: Amy Swain, 102; Victoria Anglin, 69
• Oak Ridge School District Board of Education: Andrew Luke Seabaugh, 170; Nathan Wallace Schilling, 163; George Below, 94
• Advance School District Proposition A: yes, 10; no,, 1
• Voters in the villages of Gordonville, Allenville and Whitewater agreed to forgo future elections if the number of candidates who have filed for a particular office is equal to the number of positions in the office to be filled in the election.
