The Cape Girardeau County Commission meeting was canceled Monday morning due to the lack of a quorum, according to an email sent an hour before the 9 a.m. start time by the assistant to the commission.
Presiding Commissioner Clint Tracy and Associate Commissioner Paul Koeper were absent, leaving fewer than the required majority to take action on county business.
The next meeting of the commission is at 9 a.m. Thursday at the County Administrative Building.
