To compensate for the time that would be lost for the affected residences to begin work on their sewers, the council called for a special meeting.

The council declared it necessary to make sewer improvements in a sewer district on Perryville Road.

Since the council was meeting, it also took action on two other ordinances to expedite the process of establishing no parking zones and new speed limits on Village Drive.
