Consent Ordinances

An ordinance amending Chapter 29 of the City Code relating to duty of owners to connect to public sewers.

An ordinance authorizing the acquisition of property for the improvement of Silver Springs Road between Missouri Route 74 and Mount Auburn Road.

An ordinance approving the record plat of Mansouri Subdivision.

An ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to an agreement with the Missouri Department of Transportation for a grant to fund a general public transportation project to be funded under Chapter 53 (5311) of Title 49, U.S. Code.

An ordinance providing for a sales tax in the amount of one-quarter of one percent for the purpose of providing revenues for the operation of the Cape Girardeau Fire Department and calling an election on the question of whether to impose such sales tax.

An ordinance imposing a use tax for general revenue purposes at the rate of 2 percent for the privilege of storing, using or consuming within the City any article of tangible personal property pursuant to the authority granted by and subject to the provisions of Sections 144.600 through 144.761 RSMo; providing for the use tax to be reduced or raised in the same amount as any city sales tax is reduced or raised; and calling an election on the question of whether to impose such use tax.

Fountain Streets; declaring the area included in such plan blighted pursuant to Section 353.020(2) RSMo; authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Development Agreement with the Marquette Plaza 353 Redevelopment Corporation; and authorizing certain tax abatement within the plan area.
