Consent Ordinances

* Approved ordinance granting a special use permit to Marilyn Steck and Maple Avenue United Methodist Church to maintain property for church use at 2421 Jean Ann Drive. Second and third readings.

* Approved ordinance granting a special-use permit to St. Mark Lutheran Church for a church preschool at 1900 Cape LaCroix Road. Second and third readings.

* Approved ordinance to rezone Lot 2 of Six Sisters Subdivision from R-1, residential, to C-2, commercial. Second and third readings.

* Approved record plat of Northfield 16th Subdivision. Second and third readings.

* Accepted general warranty deed and a temporary construction easement from Albert M. and Pamela S. Spradling for the Cape LaCroix/Walker Branch Flood Control Project. Second and third readings.

* Accepted a permanent easement and a temporary construction easement from Jerry and Ruth W. Lipps for a city water main. Second and third readings.

New Ordinances

* Accepted grant funding from the U.S. Economic Development Administration for improvements at the wastewater treatment plant.

* Authorized the mayor to execute an access easement for the Cape LaCroix Creek/Walker Branch Flood Control Project.

* Approved the amended record plat of Cape Commercial Park Subdivision. First reading.

* Approved the record plat of Cape West Sixth Subdivision. First reading.

* Approved the record plat of Randol Farms Estates Subdivision. First reading.

* Accepted an easement from Narvol A. Randol Jr. and Amy C. Randol for a water main extension to serve Pinewood Mobile Home Court. First reading.

* Accepted a quit claim deed and a temporary construction easement from Ralph V. and Verneda A. LeGrand for the Lexington Avenue extension project. First reading.

* Approved the record plat of Clarkton Place Subdivision Phase IV. First reading.

Resolutions

* Authorize the city manager to execute an agreement with K&K Electric Co. for primary power conversion at the Ramsey Branch water treatment plant.

* Authorize the city manager to execute a lease and operations agreement with Air Evac EMS Inc. at the Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport.

* Authorized the city manager to enter into a settlement agreement with Cape Central Airways Inc.

* Authorized the city manager to execute an agreement to renew lease with WEB Aero Inc. for property at the Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport.

* Authorized the city manager to execute an agreement to renew an agricultural lease with Robert J. Niederkorn at the Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport.

* Adopted an order of the council pertaining to proposed cable television rate increases for basic tier services.

* Authorized the city manager to execute an escrow agreement and irrevocable letter of credit with Bobby G. and Jane K. Clark and Boatmen's National Bank of Cape Girardeau for Clarkton Place Subdivision Phase IV.

Other

* Accepted the water main extension to serve Crites Eighth Subdivision and authorize reimbursement of $1,449 to PR Developers for the difference in pipe cost for the extension.

* Accepted the signage update at the Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport and authorize final payment to Reli Electric Corp.

* Approved the preliminary plat of Melrose Place II Subdivision with variances, with amendment to delete extension of Briarwood Street.
