  • Held hearing regarding the revocation of the alcoholic beverage license for the Taste Restaurant and Lounge, 402 Good Hope, Barbara Sue Treece (Simpson), managing officers. Put Taste on six-month probationary license.
  • Held hearing regarding the voluntary petition for annexation from the Deer Creek Christian Academy Inc. for a 1.56-acre tract in the state Route W Commercial Center adjoining the northern city limits.
  • Held hearing regarding the request of Deer Creek Academy Inc. to rezone 2039 Route W from R-1, single-family residential district, (zoning classification upon annexation) to C-1, local commercial district.
  • Held hearing regarding the request of Jerry Lipps to rezone 2355 Locust St., from M-1, light-industrial district, to M-2, heavy-industrial district.
  • Held hearing regarding the request of the Elias Family Center Inc., to rezone 1719 N. Kingshighway from R-1, and C-2, general commercial district to C-2.

  • Passed ordinance levying a special assessment for making certain sewer improvements in Twin Lakes Subdivision, lateral sewer district No. 16-C, and authorizing the issuance of special tax bills, and a motion authorizing final payment to R&K Excavation Inc. for improvements to the lateral sanitary sewers in Sewer District No. 16-C.
