Consent ordinances (second and third readings)

• Repealing certain no parking on Normal Avenue and establishing new no parking on Normal Avenue.
• Changing the zoning of the southeast corner of Interstate 55 and Highway 74 from R-1 to C-2.
• Changing the zoning of the northeast corner of Interstate 55 and Highway 74 from R-1 to C-2.
• Changing the zoning of 2621, 2625 and 2629 Hopper Road from R-1 to C-2.
• Granting a special-use permit to Marilyn Landewee and Mary Cotner to construct, maintain and operate additional living quarters at 147 rear S. Minnesota Ave.

• To seek funding through the Community Development Block Grant program for the Blair Industries Industrial Project and to pursue activities in an attempt to secure funding.
• Execute an agreement with Aschinger Electric for installation of a standby generator and associated vault electrical service modifications at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.

• A motion accepting into the city's system the extension of the sanitary sewer system for Rosebrook Apartments in the 1100 block of Linden Street, Sewer District 13-C-1.
• A motion accepting into the city's system the improvements completed under the Bloomfield Road Widening Project, Phase I, from Christine Street to Spring Avenue, extending the contract deadline by 60 calendar days and authorizing final payment to Nip Kelley Equipment Co.
