Authorized the acquisition of property for the improvement of Silver Springs Road between Highway 74 and Mount Auburn Road.
Declared it necessary to improve that part of an alleyway running from New Madrid Street to Mississippi Street between West End Boulevard and Illinois Avenue.
Declared it necessary to improve that part of an alleyway running from Fifth Street to Johnson Street between Main Street and Water Street.

Authorized the city manger to execute an amendment to an engineering contract with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Inc. for a hangar/manufacturing facility for Renaissance Aircraft at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.
Authorized the city manager to execute an agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers for dredging support activities on the Mississippi River.

Accepted a water main extension to serve the Station West commercial site near the intersection of Highway 74 and Silver Springs Road.
Approved the preliminary plat of Savannah Hills Estates with Councilman Hugh White abstaining because he owns property adjoining the development.
Accepted the street and storm sewer improvements as shown on the plans approved for Giboney Woods 3rd Subdivision, and releasing $100,000 of the escrow funds covering these improvements.
Accepted the seismic protection improvements at Potable Water Storage Tank No. 1 and authorizing final payment to Robinson Construction Company Inc.
Rejected bids for the River Front Trail Phase I.
Accepted the annual city audit for fiscal year ending June 30.
