Consent ordinances
* Granted a special-use permit to Lonnie Moss and Shirley Moss for purposes of maintaining and operating a repair and retail sales business at 833 N. Spanish St.
* Established the centerline and right-of-way plan for the Walnut Street extension from Beaudean Lane to West End Boulevard.
* Authorized the acquisition of property for the improvement of Broadway between Perry Avenue and Houck Place.
* Accepted various easements from Dalhousie and Robert W. Erlbacher II, and Joanne Erlbacher for improvements to serve Dalhousie Subdivisions.
* Amended the city code by establishing a no-parking zone on a portion of Bellevue Street.
* Amended the city code by establishing a 15-minute angled parking zone in front of a portion of Houck Stadium.
New ordinances
* Amended the code of ordinances by changing the zoning of 1610 N. Kingshighway from C-1 to C-2.
* Granted a special-use permit to JJP Investments for purposes of constructing, maintaining and operating a building for office, service and retail uses at 1610 N. Kingshighway.
* Opted out of the state-imposed sales tax holiday.
* Amended the city code regarding to prohibiting selling or soliciting on public streets, intersections or sidewalks.
* Authorized the city manager to accept a banking services proposal submitted by US Bank.
* Authorized the city manager to execute a license and indemnity agreement with Southeast Missouri State University for placement of water lines.
* Authorized the city manager to execute a license and indemnity agreement with Clyde McMillan and Rebecca McMillan for improvements at 2201 Kent Drive.
* Authorized the city manager to accept a proposal from Eastern Missouri Industries for the installation of street lights on Shawnee Parkway.
Appointments
* Appointed Marcia Ritter mayor pro tem.
Liquor licenses
* Approved all eligible new liquor licenses and renewed previously held licenses.
Other
* Accepted the improvements completed on the Arena Creek Stormwater Project on Peach Tree Street and Ranchito Drive and authorized the final payment to Nip Kelley Equipment Co.
* Returned the request of Westside Investments for a special-use permit to construct a new convenience store with gasoline pumps at the northwest corner of Lexington Avenue and Perryville Road, in an R-1, single-family residential district to the Planning and Zoning Commission for consideration at the next meeting.
* Accepted the improvements for the Interstate 55/Route K northwest quadrant landscape project and authorizing final payment to Foeste Nursery.
