Approved the record plat of St. Jude's First Subdivision.

Approved the record plat of Clarkton Place Subdivision Phase Six.

Granted a special use permit to Cape Retirement Community Inc., d/b/a Chateau Girardeau, for an on-site banking facility at 3120 Independence.

Granted a special use permit to MidAmerica Hotels Corp. to raze the Holiday Inn and construct a Holiday Inn Express at 3257 William.

Accepted a permanent water-line easement for a water main extension to serve the Independence West Commercial Subdivision.

Approved an agreement with the Cape Girardeau Jaycees for the donation of the Cape Girardeau Jaycee Municipal Golf Course and adjacent property to the city.New ordinances

Authorized grant applications to the Missouri Department of Social Services for the Safe House for Women and the Salvation Army.

Authorized the city manager to execute an agreement with Apex Paving Co. for the 2003 street overlay and asphalt program.

Granted conditional approval of a retail liquor by the drink license for Alfred McCain, d/b/a Our House, 2 N. Main.

Granted conditional approval of a retail liquor by the drink license for Brenda LaRose and Penny Deason, d/b/a Brothers Again, 2023 Independence.

Appointments

Appointed Kee Park and reappointed Patricia Pauley and Bo Shantz to the Airport Advisory Board.

Accepted into the city's system the 8-inch water main extension for Independence West Commercial Subdivision on West Drive.

Accepted into the city's system a 6-inch water main extension to serve Dux Landing Subdivision on Route W.

Accepted water and sewer line relocation in connection with Highway 74 construction.
