* Read proclamation for Rotary Club 100th anniversary.

Consent ordinances

(Second and third readings)

* Accepted temporary construction easements from various property owners for the improvement of Commercial Street.

* Approved the acquisition of property for the improvement of Bloomfield Road between Siemers Drive and Stonebridge Drive.

* Annexed land upon the request of Mark Rademaker.

* Accepted a general warranty deed and a temporary construction easement from Southeast Missouri Stone Company for the improvement of the Silver Springs Road and Kingshighway intersection.

* Granted a special-use permit to E.W. Geiser for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating four additional apartment buildings at 807 N. Sprigg St.

* Granted a special-use permit to D&G Properties Inc. for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating a drive-in restaurant in the 1800 block of North Kingshighway.

* Rezoned 3215 Bloomfield Road from R-1 residential to C-1 commercial.

* Rezoned two tracts of land on either side of Mount Auburn Road, south of Bloomfield Road, from R-1 to C-1.

* Granted a special-use permit to Kenny and Judy Foeste for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating storage units in the 2500 block of Highway 177.

* Granted a special-use permit to Scott and Ashli Rowland for the purpose of maintaining and operating a day spa at 151 S. Spanish St.

* Amended city code relating to zoning districts.

* Appropriated money for operating expenditures and capital expenditures from the Convention and Tourism Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005.

* Approved an agreement with Southeast Missouri State University for construction of street improvements and for reconfiguring the Broadway-Henderson Avenue intersection.

* Nominated Old Lorimier Cemetery for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

* Approved the preliminary plat of Coyote Creek Estates Subdivision.

* Accepted the improvements completed at the intersection of U.S. 61, Mount Auburn Road and Lexington Avenue, and authorizing final payment to Lappe Cement Finishing Inc.

* Executed a promissory note to Montgomery Bank regarding the purchase of land.
