Consent ordinances

(Second and third readings) Authorized the acquisition of property for the improvement of Bloomfield Road between Siemers Drive and Stonebridge Drive.

Referred a request to Planning and Zoning Commission for a special use permit for Dennis and Wendy Pennington to maintain and operating a day-care center at 832 S. Sprigg St. after applicants changed the location for the business prior to final reading of the ordinance.

Established new speed limits on a portion of Cape Rock Drive.

Repealed a previous ordinance regarding outstanding bonds.

New ordinances

(First reading) Authorized the acquisition of property for improvement of Minnesota Avenue between Bloomfield Road and Brink Street.

Approved 5 percent fee increases for the Parks and Recreation Department services.

Approved the record plat of St. Francis Health and Wellness Center Condominiums.

Established the boundaries of a sewer district to serve Willowbrook Bend Subdivision on County Road 314.

Accepted permanent easements and temporary construction easements from various property owners for the Clark Avenue Relief Sewer Project.

Established a 30-minute loading zone on Frederick Street during construction of the federal courthouse.

Established no parking along a section of Frederick Street during construction of the federal courthouse.

Resolutions

Adopted the fiscal 2004 to 2009 capital improvements program.

Approved an agreement with G and W Excavation Inc. for the South Ramsey Creek Life Station and Force Main Project.

Approved an agreement with Southeast Missouri State University for a historic structure inventory.

Other Approved the improvement plans for sanitary sewers and water improvements for Willowbrook Bend Subdivision.

Approved the preliminary plat for Villas of West Park Subdivision in the 3100 block of Bloomfield Road.
