Consent Ordinances

(Second and third readings)

* Approved the issuance of waterworks system refunding revenue bonds.

* Authorized the acquisition of property for the improvement of Mount Auburn Road between William Street and Bloomfield Road.

* Granted a special-use permit to Lonnie and Shirley Moss and Paul and Patricia Grebe for purposes of storage of plumbing business materials and vehicles at 155 S. Park Ave.

* Granted a special-use permit to Forrest L. Preston and Cape Girardeau Medical Inc. for purposes of constructing and maintaining an on-premise advertising sign at 2852 Independence St.

* Approved placement of electric traffic control signals at the intersection of Kingshighway and Silver Springs Road.

* Repealed certain parking restrictions on Broadway and establishing new parking restrictions on Broadway.

* Established two-hour parking on Broadway.

Resolutions

* Executed a release of lien for the Community Development Block Grant Program.

* Approved an amendment to the engineering contract with S.H. Smith & Company Inc. for the Cape Girardeau bridge structure restoration.

* Reappointed Luke Landgraf to the Show Me Center Board of Managers.

* Reappointed Jerry Ford to the River Campus Board of Managers.

* Reappointed Jay Knudtson and Matt Hopkins to the Cape Girardeau Area MAGNET Association.

Liquor License

* Gave conditional approval of a retail liquor by the drink license for Affiliated Investments LLC, d/b/a House Party, 820 N. Sprigg St., Suite 6.
