Consent Ordinances
-- Amended the code of ordinances by changing the zoning of the southwest corner of the northern intersection of Kingshighway and Boulder Crest Drive from R-1 to C-2.
-- Amended the code of ordinances by changing the zoning of 1641 Kingsway from R-1 to C-2.
-- Granted a special-use permit to Lynwood Baptist Church for constructing, maintaining and operating a church in the 2000 block of Cape La Croix Road.
-- Granted a special-use permit to LaCroix United Methodist Church for construction, maintaining and operating a church at 3102 Lexington.
-- Accepted general warranty deeds for the 1995 flood buyout project.
-- Renamed Melody Lane as Lexington Avenue and rename Melody Lane South as Melody Lane.
-- Accepted permanent easements and temporary construction easements for the Phase II facility plan for the sanitary sewer improvement program.
-- Amended the city code by establishing no parking on both sides of the North Sprigg Street extension between Lexington Avenue and Bertling Street.
-- Amended the city code by placing yield signs on Lexington Avenue at Old Sprigg Street Road and at Big Bend Road; on North Sprigg Street at Lexington Avenue and Bertling Street; and on Old Sprigg Street Road at Lexington Avenue.
-- Amended the city code by placing stop signs on Lexington Avenue at Old Sprigg Street Road and Big Bend Road; on North Sprigg Street at Lexington Avenue and Bertling Street; and on Old Sprigg Street Road at Lexington Avenue.
Resolutions
-- Authorized the city manager to execute a license and indemnity agreement with the U.S. Postal Service for placing certain improvements on city right of way.
-- Authorized the city manager to execute a lease with Ronald L. Woodard Sr. and Glenda Woodard for a restaurant at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.
-- Authorized the city manager to execute an agreement with Robertson Inc. for the Southeast Missouri Hospital water system improvements.
Appointments
-- Appointed John Ferguson to the Airport Advisory Board.
-- Appointmented Mae Josephine Roth to Vision 2000 Community Relations Council.
