New Ordinances

Tabled proposal to place stop signs on several streets.

Rezoned 726 Independence from C-1, local commercial, to C-3, central business district.

Granted a special use permit for a mail order sporting goods business at 1515 Kurre Lane.

Designated the Glenn House, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Thilenius House, Reynolds House, George Boardman Clark House and Alliance Building as local landmarks.

Annexed the old Hanover school and church into the city limits.

Banned on-street parking on sections of Louisiana Avenue and imposed two-hour parking on other sections of the street.

Amended special use permit regulations.

Appropriated funds for the Transportation Sales Tax Trust Fund.

Hired Puchbauer Contracting to demolish a structure for the Cape LaCroix/Walker Branch Flood Control Project.

Approved Federal Aviation Administration agreement regarding city takeover of the air traffic control tower.
