Central High School on Pacific street, circa 1920. Built 1914-15. Later served as junior high school, and in 1965 became Schultz School.

Central High School on Pacific Street opened in 1915. After classes began at the new Central High on Caruthers in 1953, the Pacific Street structure was was converted into a junior high school. Following construction of a new junior high in 1962, the old structure was gutted and redesigned as a seventh grade attendance center, Louis J. Schultz School. In 2009, after the structure housed the Alternative School and other programs, it opened as Schultz Apartments, housing seniors. This photo dates to around 1951. (Missourian archive photo by G.D. Central High School on Pacific Street opened in 1915. After classes began at the new Central High on Caruthers in 1953, the Pacific Street structure was was converted into a junior high school.
