The Cape Girardeau AARP Tax-Aide is being made available to local senior citizens.
Those interested should bring last year's tax forms, current year W2, 1099, Social Security and SSI (letter), 1099 Int., 1099 Div., 1099R, Paid Property Tax for 2005 or total of year's rent receipts from landlord with landlord's Social Security number.
AARP also assists seniors and handicapped individuals with Missouri tax credits.
Income tax assistance is available for low- to moderate-income individuals with federal and Missouri state tax forms.
The schedule is as follows:
* From 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesdays, Feb. 1 to April 12, Cape Senior Center, 921 N. Clark Ave., Cape Girardeau.
* From 1 to 4 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 2 to April 13 at Jackson Senior Center, 2960 Traveler's Way, Jackson.
* From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 4 to April 15 at Cape Girardeau Public Library, 711 N. Clark Ave., Cape Girardeau.
* From 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 6 to April 10 at Cape Girardeau Public Library and Riverside Library, 204 S. Union St., Jackson. Both libraries will be closed Feb. 20.
* From 9 a.m. to noon Mondays, Feb. 6 to April 10 at the Salvation Army Building, 701 Good Hope, Cape Girardeau. Closed Feb. 20.
