nAt 8:40 p.m., wires arcing at 906 S. Benton.

• At 9:09 p.m., alarm sounding at 1923 Emily.
• At 9:59 p.m., emergency medical service on Henderson.

Firefighters responded to the following calls on Wednesday:

• At 2:38 a.m., emergency medical service in the 200 block of Koch.

* At 10:58 a.m., emergency medical service in the 400 block of Broadview.

* At 5:07 p.m., an alarm sounding at 3120 Independence.
