Cape County commissioners OK spending on shelving

The Cape Girardeau County Commission approved several items at its meeting Thursday. Commissioners approved a motion to spend up to $32,000 for shelving for the recorder of deeds office; changing County Road 501 south of Route KK to County Road 508; a resolution to maintain a sanitary sewer line in and along County Road 223 from Allenville to and through an intersection with County Road 233 and then continuing on County Road 236 to Whitewater; a motion to refer bids for repairs of the recorder of deeds office to Recorder Scott R. Clark for review; and a motion to approve closed session minutes from Feb. 17.
